Frequently asked questions
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. The card is saved in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already installed on the phone. The customer scans a QR code and their card is ready, with no sign-up and no download.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Passito issues the same card for Apple Wallet (iPhone) and Google Wallet (Android), and every stamp, point or coupon updates the same way on both platforms.
What kinds of program can I create?
Stamp cards ("buy 10, get 1 free"), point accumulation, and coupons or promotions. You can combine them and customize the card with your logo and colors.
How do I credit a stamp or a redemption?
From the cashier panel you scan the customer's code and add the stamp or record the redemption. The card on the customer's phone updates instantly, and validation always runs on the server.
What if a customer changes phone or deletes their card?
They lose nothing: stamps, points and coupons live on the server, not on the phone. The customer signs in to their portal with their email and adds the card to their Wallet again. If they cannot, you can reissue it from your dashboard: they get a confirmation code by email and the previous card is voided.
Where do my customers check their stamps, points and coupons?
In their portal, at wallet.passito.app/portal/. They get in without a password: they type their email and receive an access link. There they see all their cards, their active coupons and their point balance, and they can redeem rewards if you enable it. The Wallet card itself carries that link on its back.
Can I send notifications to my customers?
Yes. Program news (a reward that is ready, a promotion) arrives as a notification straight to the Wallet, on the lock screen. There are also automatic emails for a stamp, a ready reward or a coupon about to expire, and you write the text for all of them.
Can I sell gift cards?
Yes. You issue a card for whatever amount you want and share its link; whoever receives it saves it in their Wallet and redeems it at your place by scanning the code. Each card is redeemed only once, and who redeemed it and at which location is recorded.
Can I pay a commission to whoever brings me customers?
